The world has undergone many changes over the last year, and so has Tansley. Below is a brief Q&A with Tansley’s founding members that explores our company evolution.
What does Tansley do?
David Gascon: Our goal has always been to build and maintain profitable Digital Ecosystems for small to mid-sized businesses. We design and develop websites and web applications, but we also create sustainable Digital Ecosystems that support these components. Developing growth-focused ecosystems is at the core of Tansley’s mission. In today’s digital economy, companies need to make sure their web-based platforms and channels maintain a community of Digital Customers that buy, share, and remain loyal to their business. A well-developed designed Digital Ecosystem empowers companies to transform potential Digital Customers into loyal brand ambassadors. We utilize strategic copy, innovative design, website development, data collection, digital marketing, creative advertising, and social media channels to help companies build sustainable systems that grow their business online.
What kind of client works with Tansley?
Erahm Christopher: In our first year, Tansley focused on designing and developing websites, logos, and branding for small to mid-sized businesses. We worked with diverse companies that ranged from landscape design architects to head hunters. It took time for businesses to grasp the concept and value of building and sustaining a Digital Ecosystem that keeps customers connected. Many companies believe a website with a functional store and consistent social media posts are enough to have an online presence. But Digital Customers don’t want noise. Customers want to do business with companies with authentic stories that connect to their ideals. This last year has been a big transition to working with businesses that want to transform their web presence into a sustainable Digital Ecosystem that delivers results. Now we are working with clients to clarify their brand narrative and intentions to communicate what the company represents and offers to its customers. Some of our current clients include a prestigious art gallery, a recruiting firm, a shoe store, and a software developer. We’ve developed several new Digital Ecosystems and revamped a few existing ones to share a straightforward, engaging narrative. We are executing growth strategies through Digital Ecosystem management for several clients. Tactics include designing the graphics and copy to communicate their story through their newsletter, social media content, and digital marketing. Finally, we’ve been collecting insightful data to modify our strategy to ensure it delivers the results that achieve our client’s objectives.
What makes Tansley different from other web design firms?
Mathieu Guérin: I feel our diversified approach creates a comprehensive level of customer support that makes all the difference. The digital domain is chock-full of complex data produced from different activation levels. Each Digital Customer engagement creates a chain reaction that helps us understand a customer’s behavior and values. But the customer response is provoked by design, strategy, and technology. Tansley’s partners come from all three of these backgrounds, so we apply our different skill sets to maximize the potential of everything we build. For example, when creating a new web page, we evaluate how customers perceive the design, copy, and functionality. Then, we measure the visitor’s interaction to optimize the engagement for future visitors. Finally, we designed a strategy based on the customer data and continue to monitor the interactions using current technology and modify elements when necessary. This strategy, design, and technical support level is our greatest strength.
What is one of Tansley’s current projects?
Erahm Christopher: Recently, we re-designed the company identity and Digital Ecosystem for a Recruiting firm in Montreal. Previously, they were not achieving optimal Digital Customer engagement on their website or social media platforms. So we redesigned their logo, website, social media channels, and newsletter using an authentic company narrative previously not communicated. We are now managing their Digital Ecosystem monthly, and in 30-days, we’ve created user engagement and conversations that surpassed the company’s online performance for the past five years.
What are Tansley’s plans for 2022?
David Gascon: In 2022, Tansley focuses on an elevated level of Digital Ecosystem support to our existing clients and looks forward to designing and developing Digital Ecosystems for new clients. We want to make sure the work we’ve completed creates real growth: increased conversions, revenue, user engagement, customer loyalty, and a larger community of customers. Data from 2021 illustrates that our work has made a significant difference for our clients this year, and we intend to build on this success.
